The mountains of Lessinia area offer a lot of unique opportunities for sportsmen.
During the winter time, in the area of San Giorgio (hamlet of Bosco Chiesanuova) you can find a ski station with lift systems. San Giorgio's chalet is one of the starting points (together with "Passo delle Fittanze" and "Bocca di Selva") of the famous centre "Fondo Alta Lessinia", a route of cross-country skiing that stretches in the most impressive corners of the mountain chain, with altitudes from 1390 to 1755 meters.
During the summer time, the Lessinia area is one of the favourite location for hikers and during last years it's considerably increased the presence of mountain bike's lovers.
Every year around Sega di Ala takes place the "Lessinia Bike", a competition that attracts athletes from all over the world in a route that permits to see the most suggestive places of the eastern part of Lessinia. The western part of Lessinia area is instead theatre of another.
