Today, we are excited to announce our GBAC STAR™ facility accreditation from the Global Biorisk Advisory Council, a Division of ISSAWorldwide. GBAC STAR ensures that we are implementing the strictest cleaning, disinfection and infectious disease prevention protocols.

As it has always been, the safety and security of our Guests and team members remain our highest priority. The goal is to welcome Guests in spaces that are not only comfortable and luxurious, but also certified in terms of hygiene and health. In this way the Due Torri Hotel offers a safe and exclusive experience in the heart of the beautiful Verona.

The Due Torri Hotel implemented a new methodological approach to prevent COVID 19 by sanitizing through hydrogen peroxide and specific equipment and procedures. This innovative process of environmental sanitation and prevention of COVID 19 involves the nebulization of hydrogen peroxide, which is considered the gold standard among the active ingredients. Microbiological tests showed that this treatment has a higher efficacy compared to any other traditional cleaning/sanitation procedure. read more

Safety Measures

We want every Hotel Guest and colleague to feel confident that each aspect of our commitment is designed with safety and wellbeing in mind. The new operational protocols include: plexiglass separators at the reception and concierge desks, prominently placed hand sanitizer stations throughout hotel public and employees areas and entrances, protective masks and other equipment worn by hotel colleagues, social distancing guidance in public areas.

 

Sanitization of common areas

We have increased frequency of cleaning with alcohol hospital-grade disinfectants on all high-touch surfaces and areas such as lobbies, guestrooms, restaurants, meeting and event spaces, recreational areas, public restrooms, elevator buttons, all employee areas, and more. The public areas are frequently monitored by sending swabs taken from their surfaces to specialized laboratories: this will allow us to verify the success of the sanitization process: 21.03.2020; 04.04.2020; 27.04.2020; 04.06.2020; 11.08.2020; 30.09.2020; 03.11.2020; 16.12.2020;
 
Starting from February 2021 we have adopted the group protocol: a new methodological approach to prevent COVID 19 by sanitizing through hydrogen peroxide and specific equipment and procedures. read more

 

Sanitization of guestrooms

 
The sanitization procedures with alcohol hospital-grade disinfectants are also carried out in the guestrooms and suites. We also offer in some guestrooms our personalized kit with hand sanitizer.
 
Our partner Pedersoli Group Laundries guarantees the total hygiene of our textiles with a specific certification achieved in June 2007 according to UNI EN 14.065 – RABC Assosistema Confindustria guidelines -which establishes standards and operating methods (certificate of compliance). to secure the hygiene of the threated textiles: VIDEO

 

Breakfast and Restaurant

To offer a perfect way to start your day you can enjoy it in the privacy of your room or have your breakfast à la carte in our breakfast room.
 
Our Rooftop Panoramic Terrace with Gourmet Grill Restaurant and Bar is open offering a seasonal à la carte menu. We have adopted all the enhanced food safety and hygiene protocols for restaurant and room service.

The Due Torri Hotel in Verona have achieved Global Biorisk Advisory Council® (GBAC) STAR™ accreditation, the gold standard for prepared facilities. Under the guidance of GBAC, a Division of ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association, the Due Torri Hotel has implemented the most stringent protocols for cleaning, disinfection and infectious disease prevention in its facilities. 
 
To achieve GBAC STAR™ accreditation, the Due Torri Hotel was required to demonstrate compliance with the program’s 20 core elements, which range from standard operating procedures and risk assessment strategies to personal protective equipment and emergency preparedness and response measures.

The Due Torri Hotel achieved health security verification from Sharecare and Forbes Travel Guide. The comprehensive facility verification helps ensure that guests and travel planners can book with confidence at properties that have appropriate health safety procedures in place.  This verification comes with an easily identifiable “seal of approval” – the Sharecare VERIFIED™ with Forbes Travel Guide badge – based on a hotel’s compliance with expert-validated best practices that minimize the risk and impact of COVID-19 and potential future public health events.
 
Developed by Forbes Travel Guide, the global authority on hospitality excellence, and digital health industry leader Sharecare, the comprehensive verification covers more than 360 standards across health and hygiene protocols, cleaning products and procedures, ventilation, physical distancing, the guest experience, and health safety communication with guests and employees. 
Hotel is required to verify its health protocols on an ongoing basis to ensure continued compliance with the most up-to-date global health standards.
