Two weeks after closing in Vicenza, the exhibition featuring the portrait will open again in Verona, in the splendid setting of the Palazzo della Gran Guardia, opposite the Arena.
The core of the exhibition of around eighty works will be the same. And while some works have been returned to their lenders, other equally stunning works will replace them.
Indeed the Verona exhibition is a great opportunity for those who missed the Vicenza show. But it’s also a chance to see that show again with the addition of more masterpieces. In Verona the exhibition will be enhanced with a larger Northern European contingent, with rare paintings by Memling and Van Eyck, and the Italian model of Antonello da Messina.
