Tocatì Verona - A widespread festival
In this 18th edition, Tocatì – International Street Games Festival becomes a widespread festival: from September 18 to 20, we will embark on a journey to discover small yet immense villages with a rich cultural heritage, many of which have already been recognized as UNESCO sites or among the most beautiful villages in Italy.
Traditional crafts, folk music, but above all Traditional Games and Sports: timeless traditions that guide us on a journey of discovery across the Italian peninsula.
In the Verona area, making its festival debut, is the Zugo de l’Ovo from the small community of Sezano in Valpantena. Mixed-gender pairs of all ages repeatedly toss a raw egg back and forth with their hands. The winning couple is the one that, after eliminating the others, remains with the egg intact.
What better occasion than to step out onto the Panoramic Terrace and admire the streets of Verona coming alive for this joyful event?
