The exhibition, open until next January 31, 2021, offers a study dedicated to the artist Ugo Zannoni and the theme of patronage that led to the birth of the civic collections of the Gallery of Modern Art.
In the collection of about 200 works donated, there are artists that Zannoni attended and other animators of significant sculptural and pictorial research of the second half of the nineteenth century, between realism, Risorgimento moods and new poetics of light among the subjects represented figurative genres of landscape and portrait stand out
