Starting from June 28th until August 25th takes place at Teatro Romano in Verona the 64th edition of the theatre festival "Estate Teatrale Veronese"
The festival proposes a selection of Shakespeare's drama, dancing performances and "Verona Jazz".
Beyond the events on prose: the partecipation of Marco Paolini and Valerio Binasco with their "Popular Shakespeare Kompany" and the return of Michele Placido and the funny remake of all the Shakesperian repertoire.
For the dancing performances: the Spain, the Argentina, the music of Rota and the "classics" of the first part of 900s.
And also the Jazz, characterized by the contamination.
Performances also at Corte Mercato Vecchio.
The festival is organized by the Cultural Department of Verona with the partnership of the Heritage and Cultural Activities and the Veneto Region, and has as main sponsor Banca Popolare di Verona, with the support of AGSM and Fondazione Cariverona.
