Bistrot al 2
Bistrot al 2 is an integral part of the hotel's All Day Long offering. It is located in the Sala dell’Aquila, designed personally by Gualtiero Marchesi, the famous Italian chef considered the “founder” of modern Italian cuisine and one of the most famous chefs in the world.
Thanks to a dedicated entrance, Bistrot al 2 is more open than ever to the city, also welcoming non-residents who wish to enjoy lunch or dinner amongst the historic trappings of an authentic jewel of the city. A unique way to discover an important piece of Verona’s history.

our menus
Running Bistrot al 2 is Salvatore Garofalo, a chef with roots embracing the Italian regions of Calabria and Apulia, and deep links to the city of Parma, where he spent his youth immersed in the culture of Italian haute cuisine.
At lunchtime at Bistrot al 2, refinement comes together with simplicity thanks to offerings such as business lunch and light lunch, designed for those wanting a quick, light and flexible meal.
In the evening, the restaurant offers a fine dining experience, designed for a curious and attentive clientèle in search of new pairings, flavours and textures: the ideal occasion for a relaxing and engaging taste experience.
our DESSERTs
The Due Torri Hotel's dessert menu is an invitation to conclude your culinary experience with a moment of pure refinement. Alongside the pastry creations you will find a selection of dessert wines by the glass, designed to maximise every pairing, alongside a wide selection of La Via del Tè teas and infusions, ideal for those looking for a softer and relaxing way to close the meal.
An itinerary dedicated to flavours, textures and the small pleasures which make the end of every meal unique.
THE ATMOSPHERE
The Sala dell’Aquila, among the most charming spaces in the Due Torri Hotel, was designed personally by Gualtiero Marchesi, the famous Italian chef considered the “founder” of modern Italian cuisine and one of the most famous chefs in the world. In this space full of history and elegance, the hotel's culinary offering takes shape in a context of great value, where tradition, atmosphere and attention to detail help make every moment at the table a special experience.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
Running Bistrot al 2 is Salvatore Garofalo, a chef with roots embracing the Italian regions of Calabria and Apulia, and deep links to the city of Parma, where he spent his youth immersed in the culture of Italian haute cuisine.
His philosophy is based on a two-fold ambition: enthusiastically welcoming both guests coming from afar and the Veronesi, offering a gastronomic itinerary able to interpret different tastes and requirements through “auteur” cuisine.
I love to travel, and this simple statement encloses my entire world and vision: I explore, I study, I borrow. I rework what I have discovered to offer a different experience every time which is able to surprise with new aromas and textures.
