We are forced to be physically distant, so we have thought to experience another kind of closeness and presence. Here you will find celebrities, anecdotes, curiosities of the 14th century Dall’Aquila Palace, which has been protagonist of centuries of Verona’s history. We will visit together treasures such as the Arena Casarini, a masterpiece of Pino Casarini, one of the Italian fresco artists of the past century: an allegorical equestrian circus realized through a skilful combination of volumes and colours.
We will travel in time, trough historical episodes which took place inside the walls of the Hotel, as the crowning of the exiled King Louis VXIII of France and the signing of the Peace Treaty of Villafranca. We will also listen to Garibaldi, giving a speech from one of the Hotel’s balconies. We will meet personalities of culture, art, show business and political life, who made the Due Torri Hotel their second house: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, Maria Callas, Vittorio De Sica, Rita Levi Montalcini, Margaret Thatcher and many more.
We will enjoy together the breath-taking view of our Rooftop Panoramic Terrace, discovering the many treasures of our city: the medieval town, the historical palaces, the Adige river’s bights.
