Veneto region and the wine tradition
Food
The vine and wine are part and parcel of the history,
culture and landscape of the Veneto region, which have characterized over the centuries the ways of life, the economy, fame and food and wine traditions.
Since the VII century B.C. there are evidences of wine production in Veneto by the Etruscan - Retiche populations.
During the Middle Ages, the development of Venetian viticulture was determined by the commercial power of Venice, which allowed the export of Venetian wines to other countries, as well as the introduction of foreign wines in Italy, in particular those produced in Greece and Cyprus.
The strong link between the Due Torri Hotel and the territory is also evident in the wine sector.
Oenology is a continuous learning process and we at the Due Torri Hotel in Verona are always looking for the particularities and the best labels to offer to our international customers.
By pursuing a policy that respects our territory and is always up to date with the best vintages, we have the possibility to include in the win list, also in the glass, precious qualities such as Amarone, Lugana, Soave and Valpolicella Classico. Special mention also goes to the grappa, which we offer a single-grape selection.
