Suites & Rooms at the Due Torri Hotel
Lifestyle
The Due Torri Hotel in Verona is a place of timeless charm: it began life as the Palazzo dell’Aquila, or Palace of the Eagle, under the La Scala family in the 13th century, and later became the Grand Hotel Imperiale. Today manager Silvano De Rosa tells journalist Savina Confaloni about the many treasures the hotel houses on a mini tour in which he opens the doors to the prestigious suites and rooms, each with an atmosphere and personality of its own. Within these walls one experiences the vision of Enrico Wallner, who restored the palazzo to its former splendour in 1959. A passionate collector, he bought up furniture from antique dealers to furnish the hotel. Hence a harmonious blend of a host of different styles in a compendium of the history of furniture and the history of art.
